Access requirements
In order to access an official doctoral degree students must hold a Spanish official Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and University Master's degree, or equivalent, provided they have passed at least 300 ECTS credits counting both of them.
Specific criteria of the programme
The inter-university Academic Commission of the Doctoral degree in Environmental Agrobiology will decide who is admitted taking into account the following aspects:
- Appropriateness of the training carried out in the master’s degree: 40 points
- Academic record of the (Bachelor’s) degree and Master's degree: 25 points
- Additional training in the Agrobiology field: 10 points
- Additional management in the Agrobiology field: 10 points
- Scientific publications and communications: 10 points
- Other merits: 5 points
English skills, B2 level. Those students who do not have a certificate must prove it before submitting the doctoral thesis.
Recommended admission profile::
- Master’s degrees including areas related to Biology, Agronomic and Forest Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences and other degrees which prove that students have: knowledge in the functioning of plants and the agricultural ecosystem.
- Capacity to design field and laboratory-based experiments to analyse data and manage projects.
