Purpose: To facilitate and promote the recption of all those students on Erasmus placements who are interested in oding a placement at UPNA. The reception protocol aims to organise stays, provide services and centralise their registration in advance.
The student, his/her higher education institution and the UPNA must sign a Learning Agreement LA. This document sets out the rights and responsibilities of the parties, as well as a detailed programme of the internship and information regarding insurance and recognition of succesfully completed internships.
Foreign students enrolled in instituttions holding and Erasms+ Charter for Higher Eduaction.
Recent graduates may also participate, provided that they complete the internship within one year of graduation and apply for it while still enrolled in a higher education institution.
The internship must respond to the student's learning and personal development needs related to their degree, and be integrated, whenever possible, into their program of study.
The person who wants to do the internship, his/her institution of higher education and the UPNA must sign a Learning Agreement (LA). This document contains the rigths and responsabilities of the different parties, as well as a detailed program of the internship and information regarding insurance and recognition of succesfully completed internships.
The visiting student mus have:
- Health insurance: EU citizens the European Health Insurance Card, the rest a private insurance.
- Civil liability and accident insurance
The stay does not constitute an employment or contractual relationship of any kind for the UPNA, so thar the institution is exempt from making any remuneration.
During the stay, the rules and practices of the UPNA, the regulations on health, safety and use of facilitites and equipement in the development of their activity, as well as the calendar and schedules establisehed by the persona in charge of the stay will be respected.
The visitor is subject to confidentiality regarding the procedures and data of tehe activity developed dureing the stay.
If appropiate, the stay will be reported to the Occupational Health and Environmental Management Unit for its knowledge.
This procedure is initiated at the request of a PDI with permanent position who will be the person responsible for the internship. In any case, the application for the internship will be submit to authorization by the management of the department or research institute where the stay will be carried out and by the Vice-Rector for Students, Employment and Entrepreneurship.
The application form must be submited duly completed and signed at the Welcome Office.
Mandatory documentatation attached to the application:
Complete applications must be submitted at least one month before the internship starting date. Otherwise, they might not be considered.
The Welcome Office:
- Receives and centralizes the applications
- Reviews the LA adn processes the approval of the internship with the signature of the Vice-Rector for Students, Employment and Entrepreneurship
- Processes requests for wifi and library access
- Sends the signed LA, user and wifi password to the student before the stay begins.
Copy of the European Health Insurance Card or health insurance
Copy of ID or passport
Copy of the insurance policy covering the stay
The student, once the autorization to carry out the saty has been confirmed, will communicate to the Welcome Office his/her definitave date of arrival.
