Activities aimed at UPNA students
The Student Assembly is one of the governing bodies of the UNITA Alliance. It is a consultative and proposal body and represents the voice of the students of the Alliance universities.
The Student Assembly meets once a year for a week at one of the UNITA universities.
This extracurricular internship programme in rural mobility offers you, as a UPNA student, the opportunity to do internships in entities and companies in rural municipalities near the UNITA universities (Portugal, France, Italy, and Romania).
- Objective: to strengthen the skills and improve the employability of the Alliance's university students and contribute to the territorial development of the regions where the universities are located.
- Duration: from three weeks to four months, between June and September. Depending on the duration, different types of support are granted.
- Expected date for the next call: March-April 2025
The virtual mobility programme within the UNITA framework allows you, as a UPNA student, to access international academic experiences by virtually taking courses offered by the Alliance universities. Virtual mobility eliminates physical displacement and allows you to take courses not offered at UPNA. An excellent opportunity to internationalise your curriculum!
- It includes: both language courses and specific subjects in other fields of knowledge
- Maximum number of subjects: three subjects from the same or different university, up to a maximum of 12 ECTS.
- Expected date for next call: March-April 2025.
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are short and intensive teaching and learning programmes using innovative methods, including online collaborative work, and promote exchange and teamwork. They may be aimed at students, teaching staff, administrative and services staff, or mixed groups of the three categories.
During these mixed intensive programmes, participants undertake a short physical mobility activity at the organising university, combined with mandatory virtual training. Physical mobility usually lasts between five and ten days, whereas the virtual component's duration is indefinite and can take place before, during, or after the on-site stay.
