Research

Since the creation of INARBE, its researchers have regularly obtained research funding from regional, national, and international competitive calls.  Grants and research projects represent the majority of the Institute's public funding, with the main contributors being the State Research Agency (16 national projects with a Main Researcher from INARBE), the EU (Horizon 2020), and the Government of Navarre (5 research projects funded by various regional bodies).

The international leadership of our researchers means first-level publications, including research networks in all of Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. It also has connections with multilateral organisations and multinational companies. INARBE researchers obtained research funding in competitive public calls amounting to €1 million in the period 2016-2019.

INARBE researchers also supervise pre-doctoral contracts (PFI-PFU) linked to various national research projects and post-doctoral contracts to attract talent, which have served to attract post-doctoral researchers from universities such as Bocconi (2018-2019 academic year), Leicester and Northwestern (2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years), Carlos III (2022-2023 academic year), and Lund (2023-24 academic year).
