Organisations as Healthy Places and Emerging Preventive Challenges

This university microcredential, developed in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Social Economy and Labour of the Department of Social Rights, Social Economy and Employment of Government of Navarre, updates your knowledge of occupational risk prevention in accordance with the new realities faced by the stakeholders involved in its management and implementation. 

This training responds to the recommendations set out in both the Spanish Strategy for Occupational Health and Safety 2023–2027 and the EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021–2027.

The University Microcredential in Organisations as Healthy Spaces and New Preventive Challenges offers an opportunity to enhance occupational health management and address emerging preventive challenges within the business environment. Furthermore, it explores key issues in occupational risk prevention related to the digital transition, management of vulnerable groups, and occupational health in green jobs. 

The training content is delivered face-to-face by social and economic agents with practical experience in applying health management tools, as well as by scientific and technical staff from the Administration.

Admission profile:

Individuals interested in occupational health and safety, labour relations, and human resource management, from both the public and private sectors, aged between 25 and 64 years at the start date of the training.

If, after the admission process, there are still available spots, individuals under 25 or over 64 years old - at the start of the course - who meet the profile and access requirements may be admitted. These places will be assigned strictly in order of registration until the quota is filled.

Once access requirements are met, admission will be based strictly on the order of registration. 

Once the course has begun, the final list of admitted participants will be published.

Outcomes

  • To understand the concept of Healthy companies and the Spanish Network of Healthy Companies, as well as the impact of digital, demographic, and ecological transitions on occupational risk prevention management.
  • To collect and interpret data to make informed judgments on relevant social, scientific, or ethical issues, and apply the acquired knowledge professionally within their field of work or vocation.
  • To be capable of managing workers’ health from a holistic perspective, solving problems, making decisions in practical case scenarios, and working with respect for Fundamental Rights, gender equality, and recognition of diversity and multiculturalism.

Training goals

  • To acquire the necessary knowledge to comprehend the complexity and dynamic, interrelated nature of occupational risk prevention.
  • To develop the skills to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in promoting healthy workplaces.
  • To equip participants to adapt preventive measures within companies to meet new challenges related to digital, demographic, and ecological transitions.

  • Timetable: Tuesday and Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • The room will be notified by e-mail to the participants before the course begins. 

The final grade will be determined based on the following weighting:

  • Examen final tipo test: 100%

Obtaining the microcredential is subject to passing the enrolled ECTS credits, in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations Governing UPNA's Own Degree Programmes.

 

Standard Tuition Fee: € 420

Tuition fee with a discount::

  • € 126 - 70% funded by European Funds for admitted participants who are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course.
  • ¬ 0 -  Additional 30% funded by Government of Navarre for individuals who meet the admission profile and are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course
