In a context of growing complexity and transformation in the construction sector, this university microcredential, designed in collaboration with iCONS, the Construction Industrialisation Cluster of Navarre, represents the training evolution for professionals seek to delve in and specialise their competencies in digital change and advancement towards a more modern and efficient construction.

This programme is developed delivered within the robust ecosystem of Navarre, supported by a committed public administration, an industrial cluster of excellence, and the strategic collaboration of the BAI Foundation. It is designed to equip experts with sophisticated tools and innovative approaches to address the most demanding challenges of the market.

The curriculum offers an integrated approach combining advanced theory with applied practice, focusing on critically and multidimensionally analysing advanced models of digitalisation and industrialisation, identifying disruptive trends, designing construction projects based on industrialised systems with sustainability and efficiency criteria, and leading collaborative initiatives that foster innovation and excellence in the sector’s transformation.

Admission profile:

Professionals (engineer, architect, technical architect, or other related roles in the sector) interested in advancing construction industrialisation and wishing to deepen their understanding—building upon a basic knowledge—of emerging methodologies and technologies to optimise processes and enhance skills, aged between 25 and 64 at the start date of the training. 

If, after the admission process, there are still available spots, individuals under 25 or over 64 years old - at the start of the course - who meet the profile and access requirements may be admitted. These places will be assigned strictly in order of registration until the quota is filled.

Selection criteria:

1.    Workers of institutions belonging to the iCONS cluster, in registration order.
2.    Workers of institutions not belonging to the iCONS cluster, in registration order.

Once the course has begun, the final list of admitted participants will be published.

Outcomes

  • To critically and multidimensionally analyse and evaluate advanced models and case studies of digitalisation and industrialisation in construction, identifying disruptive trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement in specialised contexts.
  • To design and assess construction projects based on industrialised systems, integrating efficiency, sustainability, and cutting-edge criteria to optimise processes and outcomes.
  • To lead and manage collaborative initiatives within industrialisation, fostering the integration of advanced competencies and the application of innovative methodologies in multidisciplinary teams.

  • To promote strategic management and high-impact intersectoral collaboration.

  • Timetable: Thursday, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
  • The room will be notified by e-mail to the participants before the course begins. 

The final grade will be determined based on the following weightings:

  • Minimum attendance of 8 0% of class hours: 30 %
  • Individual exercise or project which might be multiple-choice tests or short-answer exercises: 40 %
  • Exercise or team project: 30 %

Obtaining the microcredential is subject to passing the enrolled ECTS credits, in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations Governing UPNA's Own Degree Programmes.

Standard Tuition Fee: € 420

Tuition fee with a discount:

  • € 126 - 70 % funded by European Funds for admitted participants who are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course.
  • 63 - 15 % additional funding for workers of institutions belonging to the iCONS cluster of the Construction Industrialization of Navarre, who are between 25 and 64 years old.
