This university microcredential includes practical sessions designed to address questions and encourage interaction. In addition to the use of Power BI, it provides training in Generative AI with Copilot to support DAX formula creation. On completion, participants will receive an official certificate recognising their competence in Power BI and their ability to apply emerging technologies in data analysis.

Admission profile:
Applicants aged between 25 and 64 at the start date of the course may apply, provided they meet the following profile:
- Directors, middle managers, and analyst users in Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Human Resources.
- Professionals in the business or financial sector interested in expanding their skills in management control and Business Intelligence.
- Supervisors and team leaders responsible for preparing data reports.
- Service companies — such as agencies, consultancies, and management firms — looking to improve and diversify their offerings.
- Entrepreneurs in the digital environment seeking to drive their businesses forward with a focus on data analysis.
If, after the admission process, there are still available spots, individuals under 25 or over 64 years old - at the start of the course - who meet the profile and access requirements may be admitted. These places will be assigned strictly in order of registration until the quota is filled.
Access requirements:
- High School Diploma, Intermediate Vocational Training Certificate, or equivalent (EQF level 4).

- Previous knowledge of data analysis: advisable.

Training goals
- To master data loading and preparation: learn to import data from a variety of sources, clean and transform data using Power Query to ensure the quality and consistency of information.
- To model data effectively: develop skills in creating relationships between tables and using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to perform advanced calculations and analysis. To use Copilot’s artificial intelligence: leverage Copilot to support DAX formula creation and assist in identifying and correcting errors.
- To create striking visualisations: design charts, pivot tables, and interactive dashboards that enable clear and effective data interpretation.
- To automate processes with Generative AI and Copilot: use Copilot to automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency in data preparation.
- To publish and share reports in the cloud: learn to publish reports in Power BI Service, configure permissions, and share reports with other users to support collaboration.
