Faculty of Human, Social and Educational Sciences

End-of-degree-project

  1. Decide your TFG topic with a Faculty professor, or several of them, if it is a jointly supervised project (up to 30 September)
    • Contact a Faculty professor (or several, if it is a jointly supervised project).
    • If the professor agrees, the “Solicitud TFE concertado (Application arranged TFE)” (go to Impresos (Forms) section) will be filled in. It has been designed by the Faculty so the agreement is registered (it will be sent by e-mail to facultad.humanas@unavarra.es).
In this case, students must participate in the assignment process and will only choose the topic agreed on. Failure to do so will entail renunciation to the agreement. Students then may choose a different topic among the ones that have not been chosen after the assignment process.
    • Deadline to reach agreements is 30 September
    • IMPORTANT: TFG agreement in a Degree by a professor who has not previously offered projects in said degree through ordinary channels is not allowed. A professor may not reject a TFG assigned through ordinary process to take on the supervision of a TFG arranged with the student.
  2. Choose a topic and supervisor from the list (before 9 October)
    • Through MiAulario: you will receive a mail including the publication dates and topics and tutors offered
    • You must then fill in this form before 9 October. Order it according to your preferences. IMPORTANT: check the tutorial
      IMPORTANT: check the tutorial
    • On 14 September we will publish the assignments of projects that will be carried out, by means of an algorithm which takes the students’ preferences into account, following the academic record order.
    • Publication assignments: between 18 and 20 October.
    • In the case you have not taken part in the assignment:
      • you will receive a call to attend a meeting in which you will have to choose among topics/professors who are still available.
      • On 25 October this assignment will be published.
      • Appointment of a peer in the case I cannot attend in person to the TFG choice.

Contact your supervisor to begin your TFG when you know the assignment. The teaching staff may also contact you directly.
The professor supervisor:

  • will establish the guidelines for the TFG
  • will guide you through it on matters related with the structure of the topic to be developed, perspective or approach
  • will make sure that the objectives set at the beginning are met in the planned time
  • and will issue a final report on the tutored TFG, which states the suggested mark based on the assessment criteria. (see section how TFGs are assessed)

Assignment and agreement rules.

Assessment criteria may be checked in Spanish, Basque and English.

Marks will be uploaded to MiAulario after the assessment. Two days later, the marks will be transcribed onto the official report and, in the case of students whose final subject is the TFG, they may close their record and apply for the diploma issuance.

Very High Pass with Honours

Each assessing body may propose this mark for those EFG which have been graded 9 or more. Students with a project proposed for Honours must apply for permission to defend their project before the Honours Tribunal or Tribunals in the dates indicated in the calendar. Those students who do not show before the Tribunal may be graded 9 at most.

Fraudulent means:

Plagiarism and use of non-original material (except for that explicitly authorised by the teaching staff), including the one obtained from the Internet, not indicating explicitly its origin and, if applicable, permission from its author, may be graded Fail (0,0) and be subjected to a penalty after disciplinary proceedings have been initiated.

All documents in this section are fillable PDFs which must be previously downloaded to the hard drive or similar. Handwritten documents will not be accepted (except for signatures). Digitally signed documents may also be sent.
