External academic internships are educational activities carried out by university students and monitored by universities. They aim to allow students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired during their academic training, thus enhancing the acquisition of competences which allow them to exercise professional activities, facilitate their employability and foster their entrepreneurial capacity.
They may be carried out at university or collaborating entities such as companies, technology centres, institutions and public and private entities, both in the domestic or international domain.
