This university microcredential, developed in collaboration with the Health Service of Navarre, has been designed to enhance communication skills within healthcare organisations. Combining both theoretical and practical approaches, it provides an opportunity to contribute to more effective and efficient communication in professional settings.

The University Microcredential in Internal Communication in the Healthcare Sector is aimed at professionals from the SNS-O, the ISPLN, and the Department of Health of Government of Navarre. This training focuses on identifying and appropriately managing the various internal communication channels typically used in a healthcare organisation; designing and planning the implementation of a partial communication plan within or between services; and acquiring and applying basic skills for positive and effective interpersonal communication.

Admission profile:

  • Professionals of the Health Service of Navarre, Public Health Institute of Navarre and/or Health Department in a management position who are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course.

If, after the admission process, there are still available spots, individuals under 25 or over 64 years old - at the start of the course - who meet the profile and access requirements may be admitted. These places will be assigned strictly in order of registration until the quota is filled.

Selection criteria: 

1.    Professionals who meet the access profile and requirements, and were not admitted to the University Microcredential in Humanising Healthcare.
2.    Once the profile and access requirements are met, admission is by order of registration, ensuring proportional representation of all professional areas targeted by the programme.

  • Timetable of in-person sessions:
    • First Edition: Wednesday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
    • Second Edition: Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM (except for one week when, instead of Thursday 22 May, the session will take place on Tuesday 20 May). 
    • Third Edition: Wednesday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  • The room will be notified by e-mail to the participants before the course begins. 

The final grade will be determined based on the following weightings:

  • Minimum attendance of 100 % of sessions 20 %
  • practical exercise in in-person sessions: 10 %
  • Team project to present in in-person sessions: 60 %
  • practical exercise in in-person sessions: 10 %

Obtaining the microcredential is subject to passing the enrolled ECTS credits, in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations Governing UPNA's Own Degree Programmes.

Standard Tuition Fee: € 330

Tuition fee with a discount:

  •  99 - 70 % funded by European Funds for admitted participants who are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course.
  •  0 - Additional 30 % funded by Government of Navarre for individuals who meet the admission profile and are between 25 and 64 years old at the start of the course.

This microcredential is standalone and is not linked to any other academic programme.
