On 27 October 2021 Alexander Karp (Columbia University) visited the Department of Mathematics and Physics at Roma Tre University to give the seminar "'International influences on education: between myth and reality. The case of mathematics in Russia'.

Various theoretical frameworks for the analysis of various types of influence in education were discussed, as well as indications of research perspectives, which may be of interest to practitioners of educational sciences in a broad sense.
