OLD EGYPT GEOMETRY WORKSHOP IS CELEBRATED WITH BOYS AND GIRLS 6-9 YEARS OLD

The workshop was held at the Pamplona Planetarium on 23 March 2019

ANFOMAM’s UPNA team, together with some students, enlivened the workshop whose objective was for girls and boys to make sense of the geometric concepts they learn in school.

Participants of 6-9 years immersed themselves in the life of Ancient Egypt to discover that many of the things learned in math class have their origin in this stage of history, linked to problems that appeared when measuring the fields or building the famous pyramids
