From 30 September to 2 October 2021, the virtual conference on innovation in mathematics teacher training was held. These first conferences marked the start of the final congresses of the ANFoMAM project.

The conference was organised by the partners of the Public University of Navarra and the University of Bordeaux and counted with the collaboration of Ana Millán Gasca (Roma Tre University) and Elena Gil Clemente (University of Zaragoza and Sesdown). 143 people from different parts of Spain and Latin America registered: 90 active teachers or trainers and 53 students in teacher training.

The congress was divided into three sessions and was followed, live and recorded, by 1150 teachers from all levels of education (mainly pre-school and primary), 422 of whom completed a final reflection through a questionnaire. In addition, 193 teacher training students from Roma Tre submitted a free final reflection paper.
