End-of-Master’s-degree (TFM) project

  • The end-of-studies project is focused on a comprehensive assessment of the competencies linked to the degree, summarising the training and knowledge acquired with all the subjects.
  • It consists of drafting a research project about a topic of any of the main subjects of their syllabus.
  • It is compulsory in nature.
  • Each student is assigned a supervisor responsible for the monitoring of the project, who guides them to obtain and manage the necessary information and to write the final draft of the project.

  • Case study on tax, accounting and labor issues.
  • Individual case study assigned by tutor.
  • Students must present some of the various question posed in the case study, chosen by the examiners. The presentation should not exceed maximum of 15 minutes in durartion.

Instructions for registration

1. SUBMISSION OF TFM IN PAPER, TOGETHER WITH AUTHORISATION AND PUBLICATION FORMS

  • Submission of 3 copies in paper, bound, and of registration and publication authorisation forms, in the Administrative Support Unit 3 (Las Encinas building, 1st floor).
  • Defence in February or June: submission of forms and two copies of the TFM.
  • Defence in September: : 
    • June: submission of registration forms
    • September: submission of TFM copies with the publication authorisation form.

2. UPLOAD TO MIAULARIO

  • Upload of a copy of the TFM, in pdf, to the common area in MiAulario.
  • The file must be named as follows: PersonalstudentIDTFMsurname, no accent marks, points or spaces (ex: XXXTFMgomez)

IMPORTANT: 

  • Forms must be downloaded to the computer so they can be edited
  • Once the copies have been submitted to the Administrative Support Unit and MiAulario, and when registration period is over, they may not be modified.

Consultation and use of TFMs stored in the institutional archive of the Library is only authorised for non-profit-making preservation, study and research purposes. The text may only be used for short quotes, always stating author and source, according to Law 23/2006, which modifies the consolidated text of the Intellectual property Law.

Authors of TFMs stored in the University's Institutional Archive keep all their copyrights and, therefore, may use their work as they deem appropriate (publish it on commercial media, store it in other archives, etc.)
