My teaching includes EFL and phonetics in undergraduate courses and an MA course on SLA in the MA program Teacher Training in Compulsory Secondary and Upper Secondary School Education, Vocational Training and Languages. I also teach EFL at the Universidad Pública de Educación a Distancia (UNED).

I do research at I-Communitas and at the Applied Linguistics research group at the Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA). I earned my award-winning (Tesis en 3 Minutos interuniversity contest) PhD in 2017 at UPNA, under the supervision of Dr. Amparo Lázaro-Ibarrola. The study focussed on the impact of the paired format and the age factor in the Negotiation of Meaning and assessment of oral proficiency with EFL beginner students. I have written and co-written Q1 JCR and SJR articles and book chapters for reputable academic publishers. My research focusses on oral interaction and assessment in EFL and CLIL contexts, crosslinguistic influence and more recently, motivation in multilingual instructional settings.

I hold an M.A. in Applied Linguistics (English Language Policy and Planning in the European Framework) from the UNED, a B.A. in English Philology from the UNED, and a B.A. in Foreign Language Primary Education from the UPNA. I have worked as an EFL and CLIL teacher at Infant, Primary, Secondary and High School Education, and have trained teachers at the Official School of Languages. I was Head of the University Service at the Government of Navarre (2017-2019).

I have translated / interpreted (English-Spanish/ Spanish-English) at both scientific and motorsport contexts. I translated Stealing Speed (Author: Mat Oxley), into Spanish (Velocidad Robada, La Mala Suerte Ediciones, 2020). In 2021 I directed and participated in the Motorcycling Bits & Bobs international course (UNED).
