She has done a research stay at the Laboratory of Motion Analysis and Measurement in Lausanne (Switzerland) with the aim of validating algorithms in motion analysis with inertial sensors and at the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble (France) evaluating the implementation of new sensors in a Health Intelligent Room (HIS).
She has participated in several projects of the Spanish Network on Aging and Frailty (RETICEF) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, focused on the processing of biomechanical signals to obtain movement patterns related to frailty in elderly people. She has also collaborated with the Centro de Estudios e Investigación de Medicina Deportiva (CEIMD) in the identification of movement patterns associated with sports injuries. She is co-author of 15 articles published in high impact scientific journals (such as Journal of the American Aging Association; Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation; IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics and Sport Biomechanics) and also made 8 contributions to national and national programs. international congresses (4th International Conference on Ambulatory Monitoring of Physical Activity and Movement; International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation; 2nd International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering and 20th World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics).
