Sílvia Indias holds a Bachelor's and an International Doctorate in Psychology with cum laude honors from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Her main research interests include social withdrawal, victimization, and empathy. She has authored numerous scientific articles published in high-impact journals and has participated in various conferences and research projects, collaborating with other national and international universities.
She has taught courses in Social Psychology (Criminology degree) and Psychosocial Programming (Psychology degree) at the UPV/EHU. Since the 2022-23 academic year, she has been an Associate Professor in the area of Basic Psychology at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), where she teaches in both English and Spanish for the Psychology and International Education degrees. She is a member of the "Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience" research group at UPNA and the "Stress and Health" group at the Navarra Institute for Health Research (IdisNA).
Since 2020, she has been working as a cognitive coach with children who have attention deficit and/or hyperactivity, helping them to develop their abilities and effective study methods to successfully tackle their school tasks.
