Laura Carlosena graduated in Architecture (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona) at the University of Catalonia in 2015. She received an international Ph.D. in “Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Engineering and Architecture” at the University of the Basque Country in 2021. From 2012 to 2013 she studied at Technische Universität Berlin (Germany) with an Erasmus Grant.
Teaching Activity
Assistant Professor at the Public University of Navarra since 2020 in the area of Engineering Graphics.
Teaching in the Bachelor's Degree in the subjects: Engineering Graphics (International Program), Industrial Drawing (International Program).
Teaching in the Master's Degree in Project Management: Advanced BIM Control.
Research Activity
She is a member of the Research Group in Thermal and Fluid Engineering and the Institute of Smart Cities at UPNA.
Her current research focuses on radiative cooling, specifically on the development of materials for incorporation into facade envelopes, calculation of their cooling potential, and energy savings calculations.
Professional Experience
She has international professional experience: in 2009 at Group8 (Geneva, Switzerland), from 2013 to 2014 in Gössler Kinz Kerber Kreienbaum Architekten BDA (Berlin, Germany); from 2014-2017 at Ingennus Urban Consulting (Saragossa, Spain); and from 2017-2023 in ah asociados (Pamplona) as architect and researcher.
