PROFILE

I am a teacher specialized in foreign language instruction with some working experience in this field. I have a double degree in English and Italian Philology, acquired at USM in 2006 and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English in the Secondary School,  obtained at UPNA in 2010. Apart from teaching, currently, I am also focused on the research project: “Measuring Vocabulary Development (Acquisition / Learning) in CLIL programmes in Primary Education in Navarre” under the direction of Professor and Senior Lecturer Ruth Grace Breeze.

I taught English in secondary education ( English as a foreign language, CLIL: History and Geography in English in 3rd and 4th of ESO), in primary education, I prepared students for Cambridge Exams at different levels (4th pf primary (FLYERS) to 4of ESO Cambridge levels: FCE, KET, PET, FIRST and ADVANCED and worked quite a lot with university students. I prepared UPNA students for the B1 level exam (Examen de capacitación linguistics, nivel B1, en inglés) . Currently I teach at the Public University of Navarra “English for Human Resources” at the Faculty of Law, English and Didactics at the Faculty of Human and Social Science.

Apart from that a number of courses such as: the course of Italian language and culture at the University of Perugia, Italy, (2006) the English Course for non native teachers at the International House, in Dublin, (2012), the Content and Language Integrated Learning TKT CLIL Course and Certificate by Cambridge (2018) and others made an important contribution to broadening my horizons in the field of teaching.

I speak fluently English (C2) , Spanish and Italian (C1 level), also French (A2) and German at lower levels.
In my teaching experience outstanding collaborations with UPNA, Centro Superior de Idiomas, UNAV (Institute of Modern Languages), Cambridge Assessment, ESIC as an English teacher and Cambridge Exams professional along the past ten years helped me to learn, improve and grow professionally.
