Maria Jesus Campion Arrastia (Pamplona, 1978) graduated in Mathematics with Honors Degree at the University of Zaragoza (2001), and she held a doctorate from the Public University of Navarra between 2001 and 2004, with a predoctoral grant (FPU). She began teaching at the UPNA and she combined that linkage with the completion of research stays in other Spanish and foreign universities, including the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she subsequently worked at the Department of Mathematical Analysis. She trained as a teacher, attending many courses and workshops that have allowed her to be constantly updated. Currently she teaches at the UPNA in Spanish and English.
She has a Master in Quantitative Finance, from International Financial Analysts (EFA-AFI) and the title of Financial Risk Manager (FRM®). She has taught as a visiting professor at the Master in Quantitative Finance and the Master in Quantitative Finance Executive of the EFA and the Master of Mathematical Engineering at the Complutense University of Madrid. She held various positions in CAN-Banca Cívica-Caixa.
Se has participated in research projects, European and national. She is the author of numerous publications with profile Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Psychology Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Artificial Intelligence. In addition, she has made contributions in many congresses and she been invited to give lectures at several universities.
Regarding the Academic Management, the July 1, 2015 she was named Vice Dean of Internationalization of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, a position she currently holds.
