Jose E. Galdon-Sanchez is Professor of Economics at Universidad Pública de Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) since 2007, Research Fellow of IZA since 2003, and Research Fellow of the Global Labor Organization since 2017. Professor Galdon received a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and was a post-doctoral student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University, the Centre for Economic Performance (LSE), UC Santa Cruz, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, among others. His research interests are in theoretical and empirical macroeconomics, industrial organization and labor economics. He has done research on the impact of labor market flexibility on employment and job flows, and on financial intermediation and economic development. His research has been published in journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Development Economics or European Economic Review.
