Studies
Graduate in Physics (1991), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. PhD in Applied Physics from the same university.
Professional experience
Research grants (for 5 years), Part time associate professor in the Escuela Universitaria de Fisioterapia de la ONCE (for blind students).
Design Engineer in Westinghouse Energy Systems Spain, (1991-94)
Associate Professor (tenured since 1996) from 1994 until now.
Teaching
Assorted subjects in Industrial and Telecommunication Engineering degrees for many years; mainly related to Measuring Science (in industrial and medical environments) and analog electronics.
In recent years in three Masters Degrees: “secondary teachers”, TECOM and Medical Engineering.

Research
I keep opnened two research lines: (i) Photonic chrystals based on dielectric spheres study and (ii) Assistive Technology projects to improve life quality of people with disabilities. (The later quite inactive in recent times)
