The series “Jornadas de Trabajo en Mecánica Celeste” started in 1998 on the initiative of “Grupo de Mecánica Espacial” from Universidad de Zaragoza. These reunions are intended to be a meeting point for research groups in Celestial Mechanics. In a warm and relaxed atmosphere, eighteen editions have been already held. Ongoing research projects have been shared and discussed. New collaboration ideas have emerged. The announcement of a new event evokes good memories of previous meetings:
The upcoming edition is the nineteenth and, after eighteen years, we go back to Navarre. On this occasion we will meet in Tudela, the nice capital of the agricultural region of “Ribera de Navarra”. Tudela is the city of three cultures, with its historical downtown, that has been declared as a “good of cultural interest”. Both the city and the campus of Universidad Pública de Navarra await us with open arms, as long as the health situation allows it. Being aware that there are people willing to participate but not being able to travel, the meeting will be hybrid so that those at home be also part of the conference. In addition, we wish to pay a small tribute to our colleagues who have already retired or are about to do so. In a special way, we will also pay tribute to Professor José Ángel Docobo, who turns 70 and has actively participated in all the sessions from the first to the last.
Our gratitude to Miguel Lanchares for the great poster he has designed for this reunion.
We are looking forward meeting you again in Tudela after such a hard year. Human and scientific enjoyment are guaranteed. See you in Tudela!
