Academic Mobile UPNA is a software application for mobile devices that provides personalised information to students at Public University of Navarra (UPNA).
Once this application is installed on the mobile device, in order to access personal information, students must authenticate their identity and accept the terms of use and the privacy policy.
The personal information that can be accessed through this application is only a part of the data collected in UPNA's Academic Management Information System (SIGA-UPNA), the processing of which has been consented to by the individual within the framework of their relationship with the university institution as a student. This processing is necessary to register and retain the goals achieved and the results obtained in all academic and student activities undertaken as the student progresses through their academic career at the university.

For any matters relating to the protection of personal data processed by this application, UPNA has a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted at the address delegado.protecciondatos@unavarra.es.
The user of the application may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, or data portability as set out in the GDPR.
This exercise is free of charge, and UPNA will respond within the legally established timeframe. To this end, the user can contact the DPO by email, who may request the user to verify their identity with an official document.
This application accesses personal information stored in SIGA-UPNA solely for the purpose of displaying it to the user on their mobile device. The information transferred is not registered or stored on the mobile device, nor is it shared with third parties.
This application does not access sensitive personal information.
In the particular case of surveys, the information provided by the user is transmitted to SIGA-UPNA and is neither registered nor stored on the mobile device, nor is it shared with third parties.
This application does not require access to any other resources of the mobile device.
UPNA takes the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data, in accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of the GDPR.
