The UPNA adopts internationalisation as one of its hallmarks and fully backs a constant, progressive strategy of international cooperation.
International Office and your coordinator offer academic orientation to exchange students who need or want it.
All our "Study abroad programs" include a certified academic program, taught by experienced faculty and including different kinds of learning activities, such as lessons, seminars, workshops and technical visits related to the course content.
The study abroad programs are combined with a cultural program to help the students discover the area including welcome activities, cultural guided visits and day trips to natural attractions or neighboring cities such as San Sebastian and Bilbao.
The "Spanish Language Study Abroad" is a 90-contact hours (75 classroom and 15 language lab) course directed to students who wish to increase their knowledge of the Spanish language and to improve their linguistic skills in a first contact with the ountry of the target-language.
The course offers a double dimension linguistic and socio-cultural) in order to facilitate the immersion of the foreign students in the Spanish society. At the same time they acquire a linguistic knowledge which ensures an acceptable level of communicative competence in the country.
