Indicaciones para realizar el Plan de Investigación

RESEARCH PLAN

The Research Plan is free form, provided that it complies with the following regulations (RESOLUTION 952/2014, of 2 July, of the Rector of the Public University of Navarre)

More specifically, Title three of the AGREEMENT OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS APPROVING THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING DOCTORATES AT THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITY OF NAVARRE states:

Article 10. The Research Plan

  • Within a maximum period of six months as of initial registration, PhD students must present the EDONA with the Research Plan according to which they intend to prepare the thesis which they originally proposed in order to gain admission to the programme within the maximum time limits required.
  • The Research Plan must be endorsed by the student’s assigned tutor, supervisor and, if relevant, co-supervisors, and must cover the following points: matters addressed and their relevance, objectives and their significance, scope and background publications, summary of the state of the matter, methodology, work plan, expected results, compliance with the requirements of both the EDONA’s Training Plan and the programme verification report, and a time schedule detailing the fulltime or part-time commitment of both the PhD student to preparation and the supervisor to supervision.
  • The EDONA must review the Research Plans presented by PhD students within one month and may deny entry in the register if it considers that the plan does not comply with the provisions of point 2 of this article. In this event, it may, if it sees fit, set a new deadline for the modification or correction of the errors identified in the research plan.
  • The University must create a register in which all the Research Plans of PhD students admitted are entered, detailing at minimum the following points, in accordance with the format established by the EDONA:

a) Date of admission granted by the academic committee.
b) Date of initial registration.
c) Subject of the doctoral thesis.
d) Summary of contents (max. 2,000 characters).
e) Supervisor, tutor and, if relevant, co-supervisors.
f) Doctoral programme.
g) Department or Institute in which the PhD student performs his/her work.
