Accessibility Statement

The Public University of Navarre (UPNA) is committed (RESOLUTION 214/2020 of 4 February of the Rector of the Public University of Navarre on Unit Responsible for Accessibility) to making its website accessible in accordance with Real Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile device applications.

This accessibility statement applies to https://sedeelectronica.unavarra.es/sede

Compliance status

This website is not compliant with with Royal Decree 1112/2018 Errege Dekretua. The non-compliance and the exemptions are listed below:

Non-accessible content

The contents gathered below are not accessible due to the following:
lack of accordance with RD 1112/2018:

Web contents:

  • Information and relations (criterion 9.1.3.1)
  • The forms do not identify properly the entrance purpose (criterion 9.1.3.5)
  • Some contents do not meet the minimum contrast relation (criterion 9.14.3)
  • Some web contents do not get resized and overflow the content, preventing the right display of the rest of contents (criterion 9.1.4.4)
  • The captcha in the forms does not offer a text alternative (criterion  9.1.4.5. y 9.1.1.1)
  • Some icons have the same black colour as the background so they are not properly displayed (criterion 9.1.4.11)
  • It is not possible to space some texts and not miss information (criterion 9.1.4.12)
  • No alternatives are offered to skip sections (criterion 9.2.4,1)
  • The pages lack a title or these are duplicated (criterion 9.2.4.2)
  • Headings and tags are not identifying and do not follow the hierarchical order (criterion 9.2.4.6)
  • It is not possible to identify the focus on some links at the heading and left menu (criterion 9.2.4.7)
  • The forms do not count on tags with text or image that coincides with the text visually displayed (criterion 9.2.5.3). Also, errors are not properly described (criterion 9.3.3.1), and tags or instructions are not provided when data are required to the user (criterion 9.3.3.2)
  • There are processing problems (criterion 9.4.1.1)

 

Non-web contents:

  • It is not possible to determine the information, structure and relations of the content through software (criterion 10.1.3.1), and headings and tags do not follow the hierarchy or are not included (criterion 10.2.4.6)
  • The web document does not count on a proper sequence, which makes it hard to be understood (criterion 10.1.3.2)
  • The form fields do not properly identify their purpose (criterion 10.1.3.5)
  • Some non-web documents do not meet the established mínimum contrast for large and small text (criterion 10.1.4.3)
  • Some documents lack the title (criterion 10.2.4.2)
  • The page language is not specified (criterion 10.3.1.1), not is the language of the parts (criterion 10.3.1.2)
  • In the form, the wrong elements are not properly identified (criterion 10.3.31). no tags or instructions are provided when the content requires the user introducing data. Also, no suggestions for errors are provided (criterion 10.3.3.3)

Application procedure

If, when a request, complaint or suggestion is made, it gets dismissed, one does not agree with the decision or it does not meet the requirements established on article 12.5, the interested person may start a claim process. Likewise, this person may also start a claim process in the case that they have not been answered within twenty working days.

This procedure will be carried out through the General Registry or On-line Office.

Optional content

The website is optimised for the following browsers: MS Internet Explorer 8.0 and higher, and the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome. The recommended minimum resolution is 1280x1024.

This website is designed for Responsive viewing and can therefore be viewed optimally on tablet and mobile devices. On these devices it is optimised for viewing on the latest versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini and Android native browser.

The UPNA is currently in the process of migrating content to a new CMS to comply with Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September and WCAG 2.0 levels A and AA. While this task is under way, templates and new editing elements will be modified to ensure accessibility.
