Alberto Bayo-Moriones is Professor of Management at the Business Administration Department. He received his BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Navarra and his PhD in Business Administration from the Public University of Navarra.
He has a wide teaching experience at the bachelor, master and doctor level in the field of Management, especially in degrees in the School of Economics and Business Administration and the School of Industrial and Telecommunications Engineering. His teaching has been in the fields of Organizational Economics, Organizational Design and Behavior, Human Resource Management and Industrial Organization and Business Administration.
His research analyses the factors associated to the use of pay for performance schemes, the causes and consequences of the adoption high-performance work practices, the relationship between technological and organizational innovation and the interaction between Quality Management and Human Resource Management. He is a regular member of research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. His research has been published in journals such as British Journal of Industrial Relations, British Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Industrial & Labor Relations Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Journal of Production Economics and International Journal of Operations & Production Management.
He has served as Chair of the Business Administration Department; Vice-dean, and Academic Manager of the student exchange program in the School of Business and Economics of, as well as Director of the Master in Management. He is the Coordinator of the PhD Program in Economics, Business and Law.
