Dr. Oscar Martín Martín is Associate Professor at the Public University of Navarre (Spain) and Associated Researcher at Uppsala University (Sweden). His research focuses on four main areas in marketing and international business: The internationalization process of firms – comprising expansion by Born Globals, speed of internationalization, psychic, cultural, and country distance, international market selection and segmentation, and performance; international entrepreneurship, in particular the study of returnee entrepreneurs, and opportunity discovery and creation; country of origin awareness and effects; and MNEs, including the development and transfer of innovations and the role of headquarters. He has published in refereed journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Long Range Planning, Journal of World Business, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Business Research, International Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, International Marketing Review, Management International Review, Baltic Journal of Management, and International Journal of Consumer Studies as well as book chapters and conference proceedings. His research has been acknowledged through four Best Paper Awards.
