I hold a PhD in Second Language Acquisition from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). My doctoral thesis, overseen by Prof. Dr. María del Pilar García Mayo and supported by a predoctoral research grant (FPI) from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, achieved the highest distinction of "CUM LAUDE" and has been nominated for the Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award. I was honored with a National Prize for her Bachelor's degree in English Studies (UPV/EHU), and I also received recognition for my performance in the MA in Secondary Education Teaching (UPNA). Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Translation, Dubbing, and Captioning from the European University of Madrid (UEM).
My teaching portfolio encompasses undergraduate courses on English syntax, English IV, and Varieties of English at UPV/EHU. I has also taught Varieties of English and English for Specific Purposes at the University of Deusto (Bilbao), and conducted courses on English as a foreign language at the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Public University of Navarra where I teach undergraduate courses on "Foreign Language: English" and "Foreign Language II: English" in the BAs in Early Childhood and Primary Education, as well as a course on "Learning and Teaching English" in the Master's program for Secondary Education Teaching.
My primary research pursuits revolve around the implementation of collaborative writing tasks and model texts as feedback techniques within primary school English as a Foreign Language contexts. In addition, I delve into the study of factors like motivation, attitudes, and focus on form.
