Public University of Navarre (UPNA)
The current Doctoral Programme in Biotechnology has been conferred the Heading Towards Excellence Award (Reference 2011-00141) and the programme proposed here aims to adapt this programme to the new regulations, maintaining its basic structure, whilst developing and improving aspects with room for improvement.
The new programme retains the name “Doctoral Programme in Biotechnology” in keeping with the lines of research on which it is based (Agricultural Biotechnology and Microbial Biotechnology) and aims to train PhD students interested in the field of agricultural biotechnology (Green Biotechnology) as the programme core, without neglecting secondary fields: industrial biotechnology (White Biotechnology) and healthcare biotechnology (Red Biotechnology).
In terms of pathways, the specific profiles of potential candidates for the Doctoral Programme in Biotechnology are:

List of the lines of research which make up the Doctoral Programme
The Doctoral Programme in Biotechnology is organised into two lines of research which cover the subject areas in which the programme’s teaching staff are qualified.
These lines are, in turn, organised into more specific sub-lines developed by the Professors currently taking part in the programme. The list of sub-lines may be changed in the future as a result of changes in the programme’s teaching staff. The chief lines will, however, remain unchanged.
The list of sub-lines at the date of publication of this presentation is as follows.
