The number of operating theatres per hospital have increased considerably as a result of the increasing importance of surgical treatments. The Navarre Health Service has 5 surgical areas distributed between the Navarre Hospital Complex (CHN), the Reina Sofia Hospital in Tudela and the Garcia de Orcoyen Hospital in Estella. There are more than 40 operating theatre with a staff of approximately 200 nurses.

The surgical area is one of the most complex hospital services, with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety. The need for experience and the lack of official training makes it difficult to find personnel with adequate training. This situation makes it difficult to fill these posts adequately, to ensure quality and safety.

The Specialization in Surgery Nursing Diploma is for nursing graduates and professionals who would like to develop their professional activity in Surgery or increase their knowledge and ability in the surgical area.

The training will enable you to register on the list for temporary work in the SNS-O or Surgery.
