Marco Barrenechea Mendez currently works at the Department of Economy and Business, Public University of Navarre. Marco does research in organizational economics, labor economics, and institutional economics, which has been published in journals such as Industrial Relations and the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy.
Marco holds i) a Ph.D. in Business Economics awarded by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (cum-laude and extraordinary prize award), ii) an MSc. in Economics awarded by the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, iii) a Master’s in International and Development Economics awarded by the University of Namur, Belgium, and iv) a Bachelor’s degree in Economics awarded by the University of Lima, Perú.
He has visited several academic institutions including the University of Minnesota, the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn, and Vilnius University.
Also, he has taught different courses in the domains of economics and business at several universities, including the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University.
