Contents
- Integration and analysis of social, political and economical factors regulating plant production.
- Analysis, design and management of agricultural systems to render them more productive and sustainable.
- Identification and integration of biotic factors regulating and affecting agricultural ecosystems.
General proficiencies
- CT7. Ability to solve problems with creativity, initiative, methodology, and critical thinking.
- CB1: Students are able to demonstrate they have acquired knowledge and understanding in a field of study based on the basic foundations gained within their general secondary education together with the support of advanced textbooks and aspects of the latest advances in the field.

- CG2. Sound knowledge of physical problems, technologies, machinery, and water and energetic systems, of the limits imposed by budget and construction regulations, of the relationships between facilities or buildings and agricultural exploitations, agri-food industries and spaces related to gardening and landscaping with their social and environmental surroundings, and of the need to relate all these with human necessities and environmental preservation.
- CE10: Ability to recognize and utilize the base principles of plant production, and production, protection, and exploitation systems.

R2. To understand and integrate the abiotic factors that control and condition agricultural ecosystems.
