Industrial Engineer and PhD holder by the Public University of Navarra, with the doctoral thesis "Study and development of thermoelectric systems to use waste heat for electric power generation".
Lecturer at the Public University of Navarra since 2009 as Assistant LOU, Postdoctoral Researcher, Associate Professor and finally Professor, teaching in subjects related to thermodynamics, heat transfer, thermal engineering, solar energy, and heat, ventilation and air conditioning.
Member of the Council of the Engineering Department; former member of the Board of the School of Industrial & ICT Engineering; and former Academic Secretary of the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Materials Engineering.
Researcher in four active R&D&I projects funded in competitive calls; with participation in other seventeen in this category, as well as in eleven research contracts.
Co-author of thirty-five articles and chapters in indexed journals, and more than sixty contributions in national and international conferences.
Member of the research group in Thermal and Fluids Engineering, and the Smart Cities Institute, with the following research lines:
- Electric power generation by thermoelectrics
- Heat and cold production based on thermoelectrics
- Simulation of thermal and thermoelectric systems
- Heat exchangers and thermal design
