Cesar Elosúa Aguado is a Telecommunication Engineer (2004, Award to the Best Student Project by COIT) and PhD in Communications with European distinction (2010) by the Universidad Pública de Navarra. He completed a Biomedical Engineering master in 2013 and holds a C1 certification level by CAE. He holds a permanent position as Lecturer and Associate Researcher.
His research line are optical fibre sensors to measure gases and organics compound and nanostructured materials. He has collaborated with the University of Granada, the University of Zaragoza and the University of La Rioja. He has also attended short research stays in the following European Institutions: University of Limerick (2008, Ireland), City University of London (2008, 2013, 2014, UK), University of Strasburg (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, France) and the center FORTH (2019, Greece). He has expertize in equipment such as AFM, SEM and also performed measurements in the synchrotron ELETTRA facilities at Triestre (Italy). He has coauthored 48 publications in JCR journals and prepared contributions for more than 30 international conferences, with a h = 22. He has participated in 5 regional research projects, 8 nationals and 1 European proyect that belongs to the ACTPHAST action. He was in charge for 2 OTRI projects with private companies.
He is currently lecturing subjects related to digital electronics as well as to embedded systems, coordinating 2 of them.
