Izaskun Andueza Imirizaldu is a professor assistant in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Public University of Navarra. She is doctor in Social Work and Bachelor of Sociology from the same university, she also holds a Bachelor of Music from the "Pablo Sarasate" Conservatory of Music in Pamplona.
Between 2000 and 2003 she worked at "Praktiker": Center for Innovation, Research and Transformation organization belonging to Mondragon Unibertsitatea, developing and applying processes and tools for the promotion and management of worker´s participation in their organizational environment . As of 2003 and thanks to a predoctoral scholarship, she joined the social research team "ALTER" in Social Work Department at UPNA, where she continues to carry out her research work.
Her main lines of research are: migratory movements, discrimination processes, intercultural coexistence and social exclusion.
She has extensive research experience, which in recent years has focused on the development of participatory processes for the improvement of intercultural coexistence within the framework of the project "Navarra Con) (vive" "Nafarroan Elkar) (bizi", which is It has applied in the Navarran towns of Falces, Larraga, Cintruénigo and Burlada, and in the Pamplona neighborhood of Etxabakoitz.
In recent years, she has coordinated several research projects financed with European funds at UPNA:
