Ferdaous Zouaghi received her Master’s degree in Technology and Quality in the Agri-food Industries from the Public University of Navarre in 2012. Her master has been funded by the government of Navarre "International Projection Service" through the grant of the Navarre-Talent international scholarship in 2011. From 2013 to 2016, she did her PhD studies on food innovation in the Public University of Navarre funded by pre-doctoral scholarships from the same university. Her thesis work mainly focused on the quality of food products, food security, and innovation in the Agri-food sector as well as the factors affecting its economic performance and innovation performance.
In 2017 she was accepted as postdoctoral researcher in the Institute for Advanced Research in Business and Economics (INARBE) at Public University of Navarre. She has been visiting researcher of the Department of Chair for Agricultural and Food Market Research at the University of Bonn (Germany) in 2015 and the University of Kent (United Kingdom) in 2014.
Her primary research interests relate to innovation studies, strategic management, business failure, social capital, culture and values and human capital. Within these topics, she has published several articles in proceedings and international prestigious scientific journals in her field (e.g. R&D management; Technovation, Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research; Trends in Food Science & Technology, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others). The results of her research papers have been presented at several national and international conferences. The quality of her research has been nominated, among others for the ALEX Gofman Award as the best student-paper, awarded by XXVI ISPIM Conference-Shaping the Frontiers of Innovation Management in 2015.
