- Education

Graduated in industrial engineering from the University of Zaragoza.

Holds a PhD from the University of La Rioja, with distinction.

- Lecturing

Associate professor of the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Materials Engineering of the Public University of Navarre from the academic year 2006/7 to 2017/18 and of the Department of Engineering from 2017/18. He lectures on the subjects "251304 Teoría de Máquinas", "251305 Termodinámica" and  "251602 Cálculo, Ensayo y Diseño de Máquinas" (Calculation, Testing, and Design of Machines) in the Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Mechanical Design, taught in the Campus of Tudela, and is advisor of Degree Dissertations.

Director of Area of the Campus of Tudela from September, 2019 to February, 2024.

Director of the Bardenas Reales Chair of Science and Heritage from December, 2020.

- Professional activity

Experience as technical teacher of vocational training in the Polytechnic Integrated Centre "ETI" of Tudela, as well as plant engineer and maintenance supervisor in the float glass and secondary products factory of Guardian Navarra, S.L.

- Research lines and activities

Member of the ISC (Institute of Smart Cities), research institute of the Public University of Navarre, as collaborator researcher. He also participates in the research group of Industrial Design. His research lines focus on the optimal design and operation of automatic mechanical systems, rollover protection systems for industrial vehicles, manufacturing facilities, food industry, and logistic systems, Industry 4.0, as well as collaborative industrial robotics.
