The evolution towards the Internet of Things (IoT) is developing at a vertiginous pace, with an estimated impact on business volume of 11,500 million euros in Spain, which places us as the fifth country in Europe in this field (estudio IDC-Vodafone, Julio 2017), ), and it is estimated that it will triple by 2020, when it is estimated that it will be reached 20,400 million connected devices (Informe COTEC, Internet de las cosas: análisis de oferta educativa y la demanda empresarial en España, 2017).
A new industrial revolution, the so-called Industry 4.0, in which new business opportunities and market niches appear, which, at present, entails a growing demand for a specialized professional profile. The most relevant use cases are in the retail market, industrial sector, transport, health, utilities (light distribution, gas, water) and public administrations. The scope of IoT encompasses transversally all regional strategic lines in Navarre, with direct application in the field of Health, Autonomous and Connected Vehicle, Industry 4.0 and Agrifood sector.
