This subject presents a classical contents in Linear Programming applied to decision making in business management. Concerning models, lineal, integer and multiobjective programming are introduced with applications to Production, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Managerial Strategy.

Assessment Criteria

The assessment procedure of the subject will be the following:

1) Compulsory assessment

a. Mid-term exam in November 2013

b. Final exam of the subject on January 2014

2) Voluntary assessment

a. Problems and exercises solved by students

b. Cases resolution

 

Moreover, other aspects to be taken into account in the subject assessment would be: 1) discussions and classroom feedback 2) use of teaching materials and handouts given in the virtual course at Mi Aulario 3) use of the Mi Aulario by the students.
