Every program, both undergraduate and graduate, within the Superior Technical School (E.T.S) of Industrial Engineering requires the completion of a final End of Studies Project. It consists of an individual research project to be defended in front of a panel of experts, to demonstrate the student abilities and knowledge acquired on a particular field of expertise as well as to exercise the general competences attained. The project might be completed in collaboration with a research group, an institution or a private industry either national or foreign. Differently to a Doctorate Thesis, an End of Studies Project does not require research or novelty, since its main goal is to make use of the know-how acquired.
The End of Study projects are also offered to international students and might be completed either in English or in Spanish.
Each year, by mid January, the list of End of Studies Projects available is made public through the following links:
Alternatively, students might contact any of the University Research Groups to define their own project. In these cases, the project might be completed any time of the year, depending on the availability of the research group staff.
