Seminario de investigación. Continua of nonstationary periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems

Por Igor Bialecki, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun

INAMAT2 organiza este seminario que se celebrará el día 31 de marzo a las 10:00h. en el seminario 1 del edificio de las Encinas.

The aim of the talk is to show the application of the global bifurcation theorem proved by Dancer and Rybicki in article [1].  We use this theorem to study the existence of unbounded sets of periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems, emanating from equilibria. We consider the Hénon-Heiles autonomous Hamiltonian system of the form

x ̇(t)=JH'(x(t))

Describing theion traps, reaction processes, three particle systems, black holes and others. Therefore, the results we obtain can motivate the work of physicists and astronomers. Moreover, using elements of the invariant bifurcation theory, we will discuss how to search periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems with any period. This is a joint work with prof. Slawomir Rybicki.
