Javier Casalí Sarasíbar
Javier Casalí Sarasibar is Professor of Agroforestry Engineering at Public University of Navarre (UPNA).
His research activity has focused on the characterisation and modelling of soil erosion by water and water quality in agricultural areas, being principal researcher of numerous projects. So far he has supervised ten doctoral theses. He has carried out stays as scientific visitor in research centres of the United States Department of Agriculture, leading to active collaborations.
From June 2007 to May 2015 he was Vice-Chancellor in charge of the internationalisation of the UPNA
José Tadeu Marques Aranha

A Full Professor in the field of Forest Sciences and Landscape Architecture at the University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro, he is a member of the Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences (CITAB). CITAB aims to promote more competitive and sustainable agricultural value chains that are resilient to climate change.

An Assistant Professor in the area of Geoinformatics and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and the Environment at the Agricultural University of Athens (Greece), his main research and teaching topics include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Analysis, Hydrology, Environmental Hydrology, Hydrological Modelling, Hydrometry, Agricultural Water Management, Irrigation, Water Resources Management (WRM), and the development of GIS applications in the fields of WRM, Hydrology, and Pedology.
