Erasmus Programme

The Socrates programme is divided into various chapters, the first of which, ERASMUS, is dedicated to higher education. Erasmus offers aid for a wide range of activities aimed at improving European co-operation in higher education, thus helping to increase the quality of human resources in all the participating countries. It places particular emphasis on the mobility of students and teachers and funds a number of activities aimed at improving study programmes and developing new and innovative studies through trans-national co-operation between universities
