Comparative study of the different active methods of musical education.
To analyze, to discuss and to elaborate curricular proposals for
the three last courses of musical education in Primary Education
(continuation 2º course). To make specific and to temporize
these proposals in didactic units. To analyze models of didactic
units. To study the directives, models and resources to advise
to the teaching staff in Infantile Education.

Rhythmic
Formation and Dance 24302

1st Semester
Contents:
Fundamental elements of the rhythm: corporal participation of
the musical rhythm. Rhytmic-metric; movement and corporal percussion.
Human body as a sound and percussion instrument. Relation among
temporary, space and corporal outlines: fundamental movements
of locomotion, space concepts. Implicit corporal aspects in the
movement: global coordination, corporal outline, coordination-balance,
orientation space-time, breathing and relaxation. Corporal expression,
repertoire, practice and analysis: free: imitation(echo, mirror.
. . ), dialogues and free expression; structured: dances and choreographies.
The movement and dance like a way of expression, communication
and musical representation. Appropriate didactic proposals to
Primary Education (contents, methodology, sequence. . . ).

Culture of Middle Ages: vocal and instrumental music; sacred and
profane music; analysis of scores; beginnings of the polyphony.
Renaissance: sacred music, Renaissance motet, the mass; profane
music, the song, madrigal; the Spanish polyphonic music, carol;
instrumental music. Baroque: vocal music, opera, the oratory,
cantata; instrumental music, concert, sonata, suite, fugue. The
Classicism: instrumental forms; vocal music; camera music; symphonic
music. Romanticism: the art of the song, choral music and dramatic;
music intrumental, music for piano. Symphonic forms, program music.
The XX century: the era postromantic, impressionism; neoclassicism;
the school of Vienna and serial development; toward a new concept
of music formal; new bells in the music. Musical folklore: Spanish
traditional repertoire; dances.
