Dr. Javier Belloso is a Lecturer of Operations Research and Statistics at the Public University of Navarre (Pamplona, Spain). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistics from the Public University of Navarre (Pamplona, Spain), a M.Sc. in Project Management from the Public University of Navarra, a P.D.G Degree from the IESE  (Madrid, Spain), a PMP from the Project Management Institute and a M.Sc. and BSc (Licenciado) in Information Technology from the University of Basque Country (San Sebastián, Spain).
Since 1996, he is working in the company ZF-TRW Automotive in different management positions in the Logistics, Purchasing and Information Sytems department. Currently he is the Head of the Data Scientist into the Artificial Intelligence and Advance Anallytics Factory.
In parallel since 2008 he is a lecturer in the Public University of Navarra belonging to the departments Automatic and Computing (2008-2011), Engineering Mathematics and Informatics (2011-2016), Statistics and Operations research  (2016-2018) and to Statistics, Informatics and Mathematics in this moment. He has experience in distance and Web-based teaching as currently is teacher/tutor in the departments of Mathematics, Economic Theory and Behavioral Sciences Methodolgy of the U.N.E.D.

Doctor en Matemáticas y Estadística por la Universidad Pública de Navarra. Licenciado en Informática por la Universidad del País Vasco. Master en dirección de proyectos de Ingeniería por la Universidad Pública de Navarra. Diplomado PDG por el IESE. PMP por el Project Management Institute.

Se ha desarrollado profesionalmente en las funciones de Logística, Compras, Sistemas de Información y Comunicaciones en puestos de responsabilidad en la empresa ZF-TRW Automotive S.L. con una dilatada experiencia de más de 20 años. En la actualidad es director de los Científicos de Datos en la Factoría de Inteligencia Arificial y Análisis Avanzado de datos.

Paralelamente y desde el año 2008, ejerce como profesor asociado en la Universidad Pública de Navarra, habiendo pertencido al departamento de Automática y Computación (2008-2011), el departamento de Ingeniería Matemática e Informática, en el área de Matemática Aplicada (2011-2016), el departamento de Estadística e Investigación Operativa (2016-2018) y en el departamento de Estadística, Informática y Matemáticas donde imparte docencia en la actualidad. Presenta también experiencia en la docencia universitaria a distancia a través de Internet, y en la actualidad es profesor tutor en los departamentos de Matemáticas, Teoría Económica y Metodología de las ciencias del comportamiento de la U.N.E.D.
