Poster presentations

The organization of the 2016 ORAHS Conference intends to promote a poster session with special focus on young researchers. The main objective is to facilitate the attendance of promising PhD students and young researchers at the ORAHS 2016 Conference so that they can present their research results to a specialized audience and can benefit from interactive critique and suggestions from senior colleagues working in the same area during a poster session.

To promote quality research among young researchers, we introduce in the ORAHS 2016 Conference a poster competition to recognize the best young researcher’s works. Three winners will be selected on the conference, with awards given for first place (300 €), second place (200 €), and third place (100 €).

Young researchers are students and post-doctoral researchers that have defended their PhD thesis up to four years before this call opens.

In the closing ceremony, the winners will be announced and will receive certificates and checks. Furthermore, the winners will be recognized on the ORAHS web site.

Presenters have the choice to participate in the general, non-competitive schedule or in the Poster Competition.

  • To enter the competition, both an abstract and a pdf version of the poster are required by (April 29, 2016) May 16, 2016.
  • To be part of the general schedule an abstract is required by (May 7, 2016) May 16, 2016.

An abstract of maximum 300 words should be submitted. The  abstract will be available in the conference handbook. Notification of acceptance for poster presentations will be sent by email.
