Presentations will be 20 minutes + 10 minutes discussion. Posters will be exhibited throughout the Conference. There will be a one-hour session on October 5 for discussion with the authors. Posters should not be larger than 90 x 120cm.

Presentations and posters can be in Spanish, Basque, English or French and should deal with any of the topics included in the three areas of the conference:

ICH Preservation

In this area we invite contributions that address methodological matters and issues related to ICH searching, identifying, collecting, documenting and inventorying tasks such as informants, interview design, fieldwork, technical and technological means, classification and tagging, etc.

ICH Study

This section includes research that explores any of the ICH domains (oral traditions and expressions, including language as a vehicle of the intangible cultural heritage and traditional toponymy as an instrument for the concretion of the geographic denomination of territories; performing arts; social practices, rituals and festive events; knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe; and traditional craftsmanship) from different perspectives and disciplines such as linguistics, literature studies, sociology, anthropology, etc.

Transmission

This area is devoted to works dealing with initiatives and activities that aim at publicizing the ICH and making it a protected, respected and valued issue in the different sectors of society, especially, but not exclusively, in education. Papers may present and/or assess ICH educational programs and teaching materials for formal and informal education as well as dissemination and awareness activities of all kinds for the general public.
