1. Admission requirements

  1. Be 18 years old or turn 18 in 2019.
  2. Pay the corresponding amount for the course enrolled on.
  3. Present a valid certificate in the relevant language (should you have declared upon enrolling that you have an official and valid certificate).

NOTE: The Language Centre reserves the right to check that those students who are enrolled on a course still belong to the groups described above.

2. Enrollment and placement tests calendar

- Placement tests for ELP and PAF courses for Bachelor undergraduate degree programmes: the free placement test will take place as from 16 July in the morning.

- Placement tests for general language courses: the free placement test will take place as from 19 August in the morning, and in September they will take place both in the morning and afternoon.

Enrollment: enrollment will begin on 19 August and end on 6 September 2019. Enrollment and placement tests to begin courses in the second term will be open until the groups are full.

3. Public prices

Prices for the second term: beginning a course in the second term (provided that places are available) will cost half the price of the full academic year course.

4. Assignation of places

The number of places on offer for each group and level will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The choice of timetable slots is made depending on the availability of places at the time of enrollment.

All new students who have prior knowledge of the language they are interested in, should justify their level by presenting an official certificate or by taking a placement test before enrolling.

Under no circumstance may you enrol on a course at a level different to that determined by the placement test or the table of access levels.

All those enrolled can be required to accredit their student group type and their language level (should you have declared that you have an official and valid certificate). Failure to comply to this rule will result in you being withdrawn from the course.

5. Payment for enrollment

Payment for the fees are made via bank transfer by you when you enroll.

There is a 50% discount offer for enrollment on a second language course for any student type, with no student limit and for any course. The discount is made on the course of lesser cost. If the courses cost the same, the discount will be applied to one of them, whatever the language.
If you have enrolled on two language courses, have received the discount but you request one be cancelled, then when we refund the payment we will eliminate the discount.

Payment method: all fees are paid in one lump sum. You will be provided with information on making installments with loans from banks.

6. Refund of payment

You will be refunded in full if a course cannot be delivered because it has not reached the minimum number of enrollments required and established by the Language Centre's Board of Directors for 2019-2020:

CANCELLING AND REFUNDING ENROLLMENT FEE - LEGISLATION


- Legislation governing Bachelor degree programes:

Article 39. Requesting the cancellation of enrollment.
1. Students can request to cancel their enrollment in the space of one month from the start date of the corresponding term, and do not need to justify their reasons. ; it will be accepted outright.
2. Without prejudice to the aforementioned, students can request to cancel their enrollment at any time in the term, due to exceptional and sudden circumstances, and duly justified, which prevent them from continuing their studies for the rest of the term.

Included in the exceptional circumstances is when a student (Public University of Navarre student) has been admitted to an International Mobility Scheme in the second term of the 2019-2020 academic year. 

Included in the exceptional circumstances is when a student (Public University of Navarre student) participates in an official Internship Programme by the Public University of Navarre for the 2019-2020 academic year.
In all cases, requests must be addressed to the Director of the Language Centre.

You will be refunded 80% of the total amount paid if it is requested within the first month of the course, and thereafter you will be refunded in proportion to the remaining length of the course if the request is accepted after the first month. In the former, you are not required to justify your reasons. The maximum amount that can be refunded will not exceed 80% of the total cost of the course.

PROCEDURE

Cancelling your enrollment with a right to refund must be requested via a form and addressed to the Managing Director of the Univeristy-Society Foundation, which can be downloaded from the web (pdf / doc) or you can request a copy of the form at the Information Point, on the 1st Floor. You must attach to the form - in such case - supporting documentation which justify why you cannot continue with your language course.

OFFICIAL EXAMS REFUND POLICY

DELF-DALF AND ESOL CAMBRIDGE

Cancelling your enrollment on a DELF/DALF or CAMBRIDGE ESOL exam and requesting the corresponding refund can be made provided that the enrollment deadline for the corresponding exam session has not passed. No refund will be made and enrollment will be considered definitive once the enrollment deadline has passed.

It is not possible to transfer enrollment on to another exam session.

Cancellation requests must be sent to centro.idiomas@unavarra.es, explaining your reasons for cancelling and which must be justified with supporting documentation.

The amount will be refunded to your credit card or by the same means of payment you used to enrol.
